Hi everybody (or every one)

if you got lost, you might post a small text here. What about presenting you ?

I'm avalelejelelava aka éèëê
I'm french and study sound in a cinema / music school.

Silver Mt Zion is one of my favourite band. I'm not sure that this forum is useful, but somenone said "le superflu est nécessaire". Is there anybody that think the same and want to come with us ?

Hello.
jakhobh here. Not my real name.
I live in the beautiful province of Québec in k.k.kanada.
I'm 25. I really enjoy music(listening and playing), movies, books and arts in general.
Silver Mount Zion is one of the best bands I know.
So yeah, that sums it up for now.

Gutentag. My real name is Dan.

I currently live in Minnesota, but I have plans to possibly move elsewhere in the far future.

Some bands I enjoy are A Silver Mt. Zion (the reason I am here), The Allman Brothers Band, Boards of Canada, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Grateful Dead (one of the top three bands I enjoy). I'm also partial to more left field sounds like Earth, Sunn O))), Coil, and Tinariwen.

I also have a last.fm page. You can shuffle through it to see whatever else I listen to.

Hi!
My name is nicola, and i'm from italy.. not so glad about that.
I think that i'm gonna make lots of mistakes, so excuse me for my poor english.
..i'm 20. I'm studying something that kinda envolves arts and multimedia.
Just to support my interests and let me receive some inputs..
But what i really want is to concretise (..hope you won't laugh too much. i really don't know if my english is correct or not..)
...ehmmm.. concretise my music.
Realise my musical projects.
I'm also in photography.
I love everything that cames out of mouths and fingers of the community, thee silver mount zion, god's pee and the others..
And i love you all.

Hello

I'm Rob. I'm from Birmingham (England, not Alabama), and Im currently studying Music Practise at Stratford College. Next I'm hoping to study Composition at University.

I;m sure to some of you the idea of "studying" music seems fairly pointless, but to me it seems like the most obivous thing in the world to do with my life, as music is all ive ever really cared about.

Some of my favourite bands are A Silver mt. Zion (obviously), Godspeed, Red Hot Chilis, Explosions in The Sky, Mogwai, 65daysofstatic, Thom Yorke, nd Motion City Soundtrack

Halo all,

so i thought i might do a little advertising for myself here too...

well,my name is Lars,i live in Vienna and i am a musician and sound-engineer.
or i have to be a sound-engineer,since i dont make any money with my music.
so far i have released 4 solo-albums,a fifth one is finished but no label yet and i did some music for films too and maybe now i ll be making music for a dance choreographer,if he likes what i im doing....

i ve played in a couple of bands as well, but for the past 4 years, its mainly me by myself.if any of you would like to hear some of it,you can do so on the lovely myspace, hurrah on

www.myspace.com/larsstigler

or if you are interested in the band stuff it
www.myspace.com/contour

i d be actually really interested in what mt.zion fans think of my music, since there might be some same overallfeeling to it,at least to the older stuff of them, where they didnt use drums.i almost never use drums or beats, its mainly electric guitar and fender rhodes piano.

well,i d be really glad to hear a couple of reviews on my "songs",some of it is 8 years old up to 3 years ago.damn,i havent recorded in a long while....

so,would be nice to hear from some of you what you think of it.

take care
thanks for listening
lars
